In more than a quarter of a century as a congregational rabbi, I've worked with hundreds of families on end-of-life issues ranging from the concrete -- advanced medical directives and living wills -- to the most psychological and spiritual, such as meaning-making, maintaining family connection, and forgiveness. Deaths range from the deeply sad to the truly tragic. And for all of them, I guide and coach so as to make this moment as meaningful and peace giving as possible.
